Once we went inside the lobby area, after capturing some video of poster 7 (Post Office rules & regulations) I went to record the inside of the retail area while remaining in the lobby the entire time. I was met by the manager, stating I wasn't allowed to record in the lobby & was told I had to go outside to record. We pointed him to poster 7 regarding recording in the lobby for news purposes , which is what I was doing for this video. I was then met in the lobby by 2 "Male Karen" dads who were uptight about their kids being captured on my camera, they failed to notice the 5 possibly 6 cameras already recording them in the retail area by the Post Office. One of the "Male Karens" even went as far as to lightly hit my camera & call me a pervert/ pedophile . After them, i was met by "Big Red Karen" who attempted to question my reason for recording for well over 10 minutes & got no answers from me. Fullerton Police arrived on scene a short time later & informed us that we needed to stay outside because there were kids inside. Based on these interactions at this Post Office ,this Fullerton Post Office along with Fullerton Police on scene failed this First Amendment Audit miserably from my prospective. #FirstAmendmentAudit #1AAudit #FirstAmendmentRights #PubicPhotography #SouthernCalifornia #OrangeCounty |
