This is the first FOIA request for video of any police interaction with the public I've made and it won't be the last. I have sent roughly a couple hundred FOIA request since I've been a journalist and every single time they've ignored or denied me records it's been to cover something up. The majority of request are complied with in a timely manner, so when they outright ignore the request it's a HUGE red flag. I will have filed suit against this county to get the rest of the video. I will receive ZERO dollars from this lawsuit. This is simply to get the government to comply with the laws they passed and swore to uphold. This will undoubtedly cost the tax payers of this county some money and it shouldn't have to. It takes time and money to get at the truth.
