| Description: | While paying a visit to the Putnam County Sheriffs Dept to conduct a 1st amendment audit, a complaint compliance check and a FOIA compliance check, I noticed a few strange issues. FOIA Compliance notes: I have never recievedthe response to the FOIAS filed on May 10, 2022 handed to Sheriff Doyle. ** I have spoken with Lynn, who stated she sent it VIA email on 5/12/22, I do not have it in my inbox but she notified me she will resend** Complaint Complaince notes: Sheriff Kevin Doyle was somewhat helpful but was trying to get rid of me while asking about thr complaint process. Doyle then handed me a generic form for reports, which stated "not under arrest" at the top, to be used as the officer complaint form. As I left, Doyle or someone with a similar profile entered a white truck and pulled up next to me blocks away, lines his window up with mine and stares, then drives away. I had no other option but to believe he was attempting to intimidate me for inquiring about an officer complaint. 1st amendment notes: Pass. Not one person mentioned the fact that I was filming the encounter. I was not impressed with this visit. |
