| Description: | I was conducting a First Amendment audit outside this government contracted location, gathering pictures & video from the public easement just along the curb. The interesting thing about this location is that there are two facilities just across the street from one another. By the time I moved to the 2nd facility, I was soon met outside by an individual questioning why I was recording. Another individual soon came outside to join the first person who initially came outside. He then proceeded to inform me that I was on private property & I explained to him I didn't believe I was on their property & explained I was on the easement. He then claimed there was no public easement & soon after got on his phone to place a call. I would guess with the amount of time he was on his phone, it was easily about 30 mins or so. After concluding his conversation , we had another brief exchange which surprised me, by offering me a warm beverage since it was beginning to get chilly out as the sun would soon be setting. I did decline the offer but thanked him . The two individuals then retreated back inside without further incident. I would guess whoever he called, the party on the other end could have explained that I was within my right to document from where I was standing.
