| Description: | On 2/15/2021, I paid a visit to our state capital's police department in Springfield, Illinois . I was proud to see the employees not giving an issue to the 2 men who took shelter inside of the vestibule, as frigid temperatures have taken over. I ran into a couple of "camera shy" individuals, one of which was clearly unaware of how the law works. When questioning Sgt Ligon about the process of filing a complaint on an officer, he appeared to be kind, concerned, knowledgeable and patient. It was pleasant to feel safe if I did need to file a complaint with this particular department. Both Sgt Ligon and Officer D. Phillips seemed to respect our rights protected by the Constitution of United States. It is so nice to be able to show the positive interactions with officers who take pride in their work. Shout out to both of these guys and Springfield Police Department for a solid 10/10. #butthurt #officers #camerashy #professional |
